Had an amazing Day at Weardale Ski club today, My first time up there.! Great runs and friendly faces all round and a really passionate team. What an absolute bargain and great fun for £48 annual membership!
A great north facing bowl high above Daddryshield that holds snow very wells so often has good ski conditions. Only about an hour's drive from Tyneside or Teesside. So check the website for membership and snow conditions, then off you go!

Best ski club in England by a country mile. Fantastic terrain with 34 runs when the snow is good. Friendly team, large clubhouse, north facing, 2 poma lifts.

A fantastic set up ran by volunteers and fellow skiers, membership fee is minimal and this year we've had about 13 good days of snow where the lifts have been open which more than covers the membership fee
